We are a solid oxide fuel cell (SOFC) research and development company specialising in developing and producing
low cost manufacturing solutions for a wide range of solid oxide fuel cell stack applications.
The company laboratory is based at Rosedale House as seen above, in the village of
Rosewell, Midlothian (Scotland).
Fuel Cells (Scotland) Limited is a company founded on the inventions of Dr T G Lindsay. Dr Lindsay's work on solid oxide
fuel cell stacks is the culmination of 12 years of research and development, resulting in several patent applications
being granted both nationally and internationally through PCT. The first proof of concept stack ran in the laboratory for
3000 hours over a five month period and enabled progress to scale model stage.
